— A smug jerk walking around with a cocktail glass { half full } in his hand, smiling to his friends, sings, in a gravelly voice with someone teasing a jazzy melody with just the high notes on a piano – the jerk has a smirk on his face,
“Rosie-
“Where have you gone?
“Well – I don’t care –
“Give me a call when you get there –
“ [ something mumbled like ‘be sure to tell me what you wear -‘ ]
“ [ he takes a drink , then – ] Darlin’ Rosie -”
