– “Very Light Snow Falling On Deer Hill” = 4:15 pm January 23rd, 2025 –<\/p><\/div>\n
— It just took me almost two hours to set up an iMac -Take a Photo –\u00a0 find all the USB cables I needed to connect an older iPhone to the USB A on my iMac … Because The almost New iPhone in the other room wasn’t quite all the way plugged into its USB C charger cable and drained instead of charging overnight – I think I have maybe five or six different USB iPhone Charging cables and the things that plug into a wall socket to charge the danged phones. 3 different ‘generations’ of charger schnarr for two older phones that no longer have the chips they’d need to consider themselves phones – they’re just auxiliary\u00a0 cameras these days. And I almost sent this iMac back to the company I bought it from because the danged computer kept crashing in the middle of a sentence when I was typing away. It has 32 GB of RAM and couldn’t handle fifteen page stories? – other than that – It’s got 2560 by 1440 Pixels available for its monitor, which isn’t bad… And it was in “Like New” condition and had been refurbished. Maybe I should have asked why it needed to refurbished. Maybe I got a clinically depressed iMac – cheap enough – but —><\/p>\n
— So, Anyway – Today – around 1:15 pm Atlantic Time – And I never realized that New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and part of Quebec were an hour ahead of Eastern Time before I got here – I’m not sure about Labrador, but Newfoundland is another half hour ahead of those of us in the Atlantic Time area of the ‘Maritimes’ – that would make it about an hour and a half ahead of New England, New York, the US East Coast, Most of Quebec and all of Ontario and – I remember Illinois and Wisconsin being in the Central Time Zone, Colorado’s in the Mountain Time Zone, and California, Oregon, Washington State, Sometimes Arizona, maybe Nevada, and British Columbia are in the Pacific Time Zone – Alaska’s on its own – an hour behind California, and Arizona became Anal Retentive and wouldn’t agree to accept Daylight Saving Time – { And wouldn’t Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day, either – Wait until they get to the Pearly Gates and see all the African American ex-slaves standing their telling them to step out of line and go into the examination rooms where they’ll have to bend over and spread their cheeks and have a half robotic gray alien probe and chip them somewhere where it will probably hurt for at least a century and a half unless they volunteer to come back down here and spend a couple lives as a minority slave – property of monsters who make Simon LeGree look like an an angelic boy scout. } { Okay, I’m trying to be Perceptive, non-Judgmental. }<\/p>\n
— Um, back on topic – { Clears his throat } – Um, today, around 1:15 pm – the mail person delivered about six weeks of mail that was probably sitting in half a dozen places, waiting for the Canadian Postal Workers to get their human rights back. Even Taylorists tell their students that “if You treat your employees like they’re decent human beings, and realize that ‘Beedy Grastards’ get what they deserve – You wouldn’t have to worry about waking up one morning to learn that the people you thought you could convince to work their tails off for starvation wages and indecent working conditions { Verbal abuse, sexual harassment, Blatant Racism, Sexism, et cetera – } have formed a Union and gone out on strike. Tyrants don’t do so well in the real history of life on this planet – at least since the Glactic Federaion of Light began monitoring things and watching the planet and everybody on it go through these cyclical growing pains….<\/p>\n
— So anyway – Have a nice life – come see me when you feel like your head is exploding because you suddenly realize that those of us who’ve been telling you that you’ve been believing the wrong set of lies for at least the last 20,000 years – were telling the truth.<\/p>\n
