This was the example page, ‘Sample Page’ that came with this blog. I think the ‘Sample Pages’ are so freakin’ lame that I would never pay for anything this stupid if it wasn’t ‘free’ as part of the ‘web provider’ server I was already paying for. Pages are different from blog posts because blogs are designed to ‘enter’ your latest ‘post’ above everything you’ve added before and Pages work like everything else you’ve ever written in your life and if you add stuff you probably add it below anything you’ve already saved/posted on that page. Most people start with an ‘About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I am definitely not a bike messenger by day, not an aspiring actor by night, but this is my website. I do not live in Los Angeles, I do have a great (but weird) dog named Jassper, who has his own facebook page and twitter account, and contributes to more than one blog that I ‘own’. I do not like piña coladas. I will never drink one. ( But I do like gettin’ caught in the rain. — even if I will never listen to the song they got these last couple lines from ever again if I can help it. That song is as stupid and lame as the original garbage they had here on this ‘Sample Page’.) The only thing good about the page they left here is the fact that it shows you how pages show up on your WordPress Blog and it shows you what you can do with these ‘quoted’ sections here.

The XYZ Doohickey Vaporware Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing overpriced, fraudulently endorsed doohickeys and vaporware to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, which doesn’t exist, XYZ employs over 2,000 non-existent people and does all kinds of awesome things for the make believe Gotham community. And it does all this at your expense. 🙂

– “Eslyn, exploring the underwater Mer City” – I think Eslyn might have fallen into oblivion and had to be replaced due to a stupid glitch that also killed my first attempt at creating a believable under-water city for Mer characters in my Game World. –
