Monday, January 15th, 2018 – Brrrrr –

Monday, January 15th, 2018 —> -20˚C / -4˚F {{ -27˚C / -21˚F Windchill }} & Dark and Very Cold @ 7:00 am in Atlantic Canada —> On Jenny Leigh’s Birthday 🙂 —

Snow Squall last Tuesday.

– This was last Tuesday – Most of our snow melted over the weekend – then the hard freeze came in and Brrrrrrr! –

—  Eeep! It just took me four tries to get the above photo in here –

— It’s +4˚C /+40˚F in Whitehorse NWT right now. Only New Orleans is warmer than that in the continental US, according to the weather network.

— Schnarr —

— But, today is a cutey named Jenny Leigh’s birfday. She can’t be 21 years old, can she? nah – impossible.

— I dreamed I was trying to explain parallel worlds to somebody in French. – after walking around a section of a building that in one parallel dream world was a restaurant, but in the world I was in during that dream, was surrounded by solid wood paneling, and somebody told me that inside that place, in that dimension – it was a place to go and get stuff you need, and not any kind of store. Um, sounds like a free store in the ‘here-after’ ?

2018-Day Two

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 —> -20˚C / -5˚F & ‘dark’ & cold @ 8:35 pm in Atlantic Canada —

A list of things to quit in 2018.

– “Things to quit in 2018” –

— We didn’t go anywhere yesterday, didn’t start the ‘broom broom’ up either. Ergo – today when we needed to go get our newly inspected wheels re-torqued – the engine didn’t even, “wrrrrrr-”

—  Our neighbour saw us looking at the engine with our van’s hood raised and came over and gave us a jump to get us started. We have nice neighbours.

always new stories to read and/or live.

– “Your unlimited imagination sees new stories everywhere -” that’s usually a good thing. –

— Um, I don’t know how wide a space I’ll have to write anything below this since I told the Cropped section of a screen shot to sit on the left side of the space I have there –

Sharon, Chillin with her 'Snowmies'.

– my sister, Sharon – wearing her Alaskan ‘Chillin’ with my snowmies’ sweater and matching hat as we Skyped last night. –

Bim window in Skype.

– & This was me – in the little skype window on the lower right while a bigger version of Sharon in her ‘Chillin’ hat and sweater occupied most of the skype window. –

— You can’t see the ‘snowmies’ in the small photo to the left of this. { They’re Snowmen – or maybe a snow-man and a snow-woman }

— This may become a formatting nightmare – but —>

— Yeah, this might be a complete “Eeeek” when I look at it before clicking the  “Publish” button.

— But, anyway,  Happy Tuesday?

New Year’s Day, 2018 – Cautious Optimism?

Monday, January 1st, 2018 —> -18˚C / -2˚F —  & ‘dark’ with scattered clouds @ 6:14 pm in Atlantic Canada —

Meanwhile, In Canada

– “Meanwhile In Canada -” { Come to Canada because you fall in love with warm, friendly people ( avoid one or two cities like ‘Torranna’ and rabidly political hot spots ) & Stay, not because you can’t start your car, but because you also fell in love with their sense of humour – } 🙂 –

— Last night I was looking ahead toward 2018 with a sense of dread. I mean, if you take the trends in political madness and economic warfare and project that forward – you get a massive “Yikes!” attack.

— But one facebook friend ( of all the places to find friends? ) Started the New Year off with an affirmation, “In this new year I am a new person. And I shall change my consciousness again and again until I have driven away all the darkness of ignorance and manifested the shining light of Spirit in whose image I am made.”.

— And almost un-detectably, inner assurances that things are not as bad as they seem sunk in and – well – yeah, a lot of ‘fit’ may hit a lot of ‘shans’ this year, but I have the feeling that almost everybody I care about will be all right. 🙂

— Hugggs all around to everybody who wants one –
