— I’m coming to the conclusion that all levels of all governments are dishonest, corrupt, thieving, scheming, lying institutions.
— The US ‘Armed Services’ & “Intelligence” Agencies brought more than just Nazi rocket scientists over to North America after the end of World Wat II. The “Intelligence” agencies were particularly interested in Josef Mengele and what his team of evil mad scientists/ researchers had learned about mind control – So they spirited someone who was arguably the most demented and evil maniac in the Nazi party into the USA to help them launch the program that later became “MK-Ultra” – The “Montauk Project” and the British “Project Mannequin” came from information that Mengele gave them. { <— Check out the links and do some more research on the subjects. }
— & The Rockefellers brought back information they got from the Nazis about Corporate Fascism, Government Finance, and how to cook the books so it looks like your government, at all levels, is trying to ‘run on empty’ and needs to hit you up for more and more tax money all the time, when, according to an investment counselor turned whistle blower, Walter Burien, all governments at all levels, from your local town, city, or other – municipal councils – up to the top of the Federal Governments in every ‘Western’ nation with a Central Bank such as the Federal Reserve in the USA – have so many income streams that they almost never admit to, or even hint at – that they could stop collecting taxes completely and provide more and better services than they do now, including free renewable electricity, free secondary education tuition, free transportation, virtually free medical care for all { with a few ‘optional services’ costing a little bit } and probably some other stuff, like free housing for the poor, that I can’t think of right now.
— The Cosmic Law of Prosperity says that any society that guarantees basic food and shelter to all its citizens is pretty much guaranteed nearly unbounded prosperity. But small minded men { and women? } with a little bit of lust for power – want to feel ‘important’ and in control of the ‘great unwashed masses’ – so they will never surrender the control that they’ve deluded themselves into believing they have now, will never tell you the truth, will never let go, will never stop manipulating you – will basically keep trying to pick your pockets and keep you down as long as they can get away with it.
— So, while today’s news that the Canadian Government, and specifically the ‘sitting’ “Liberal Party” majority —> wants to introduce a new 5% tax on broadband internet doesn’t surprise me at all – it does have me growling under my breath. Canada is already one of the most expensive countries in the world for any private citizen to connect to the internet, and anyone who’s been around a while will remember the countless rumours of attempts by US and Canadian, and probably most other —> governments — to tax the internet.
— Too many ‘Prophets’ have told us that we’re going to suffer as corrupt governments fall and new forms of much more honest and spiritual governments rise from their ashes. Now it feels to me like those governments deserve to fall and politicians deserve to suffer, but too many innocent, naive, good-hearted citizens who have been victimized by their own governments throughout the history of ‘civilization’ { as we know it, since a bunch of delightful ice-holes burned down the Great Libraries that held evidence of previous civilizations and the current power-mad creeps who believe they’re running things have demonized anybody who suggests there might be a better, more humane, way of doing things – } too many of us —> do not deserve to suffer the collapse of the corrupt old systems and the anarchy that will probably take place before we achieve our “New Heaven, New Earth” —> most likely ‘the hard way’.

Netflix tax? MPs set to propose 5% levy to help media industry
Similar to levy on cable bills, proposal could add hundreds of millions to fund for Canadian content

A report expected Thursday from the House of Commons Heritage Committee is expected to recommend a five per cent tax on broadband Internet services, potentially adding hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues to the Canadian Media Fund, which already receives a levy on cable bills to finance the production of Canadian content. A parliamentary committee studying Canada’s slumping media industry will reportedly call for a five per cent tax on broadband Internet services to boost a sector struggling to adapt to technological changes and evolving consumer habits.
The Globe and Mail, citing Liberal and opposition sources, says the new levy is at the core of a majority report of the Canadian Heritage Committee to be released on Thursday.
The sources spoke on condition of anonymity as the report is not yet public. CBC News will livestream the committee’s news conference at 10:45 a.m. ET.

They said the proposal would add hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues to the Canadian Media Fund, which already receives a levy on cable bills to finance the production of Canadian content.
Under the new proposal, say the sources, an additional tax would be levied on broadband Internet providers and would ideally apply to high-speed Internet services that allow for the streaming of music, movies and TV shows, but not to slower and less costly services.
One source told the newspaper that revenue generated by the current cable levy is no longer sufficient in an age of cord cutting and “over-the-top” services that stream content over the Internet.
- More than a quarter of TV subscribers mulling cable-cutting
- More TV streaming services join US market, leaving Canada far behind
The Heritage committee has spent more than a year studying the industry, which has been steadily losing advertising revenue and market shares to online giants such as Facebook, Netflix and Google.
The Sources said while MPs of all stripes acknowledge the shaky state of the media in Canada, they disagreed on solutions, with the Conservatives refusing to sign on to the majority report.
Liberal MP Hedy Fry, who is chairwoman of the Heritage committee, refused to comment on the content of the report on Wednesday, stating only that it will be “interesting.”

& From a previous article posted on the CBC.ca/news/ web site:
According to a recent CRTC open survey of 29,000 Canadians, 11 per cent of respondents had no home internet service, and many people who are connected say they struggle with the cost.
Amber Slegtenhorst in Ottawa claims she can barely afford her monthly bill for internet service for her family of five children.

“Sixty dollars a month is a lot of money. I’ve got six mouths to feed including myself,” says the single mother.
Slegtenhorst also says she can’t afford to live without internet access. “It’s a staple of life. The way we communicate.”
Tabish argues people like Slegtenhorst could lose out if prices go up. University of Ottawa law professor and internet legal expert Michael Geist agrees.
“The ISP tax would come at an enormous cost to other policy priorities,” he stated in a column last week.
“Internet access would become less affordable, expanding the digital divide by placing connectivity beyond the financial reach of more low-income Canadians.”
