The Independent Canadian News is an attempt to bring anyone who reads it the news they might not be able to get anywhere else. We are dedicated to telling the truth as clearly as we can see it.<\/p>\n
This effort began as “The Arnprior News” when founder, Jim Wellington, lived in Arnprior, Ontario { Canada } and the local papers were shrinking and being bought out by an area corporation.<\/p>\n
Jim and two other Editors \/ Writers moved away between 2012 and 2013. So we’ve widened the scope here, and don’t really have anybody back in Arnprior on the staff to keep us updated.<\/p>\n
If we think of anything else that might be important, we’ll put it here.<\/p>\n
