<\/span> A friend ‘crafted’ this in-game Avatar of me inside the on-line game world we’re building.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n


\n— Last night I began working on this page to try to make it look “inviting” and not too scary for casual visitors.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

— \u00a0I’ve been a writer since early childhood when a grandfather told me in a dream that somebody important where he was thought I could be a pretty good writer and if I said, “Yes-” certain things in this life would change.<\/span><\/p>\n

— I said, “Yes.”<\/span><\/p>\n

— & Since then I’ve delivered flyers for a neighbourhood grocery store, delivered newspapers for the New York Times, USA Today and other newspapers. Been a ‘gopher’ for a decent sized city’s Newspaper, worked for almost nothing in my grandparent’s Motel, Restaurant and Gas Station in Vermont — Served in the US Navy where I ran a soda fountain on a “Destroyer Tender”\/ repair ship for mostly Destroyers – Worked as every kind of clerk in two Trucking Company offices – delivered and sorted mail for 9 years with the US Postal ‘Service’\u00a0—& escaped with my soul intact (I think-) — Been the director of Public Services for a 99.9% volunteer community radio station [ WPKN in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA ] – been a production assistant ( responsible for recording, editing, and playback of town council meetings – among other news gathering assignments) – for a Canadian Cable Television Provider – been unemployed — worked part time jobs – painted houses, \u00a0put furniture together for an ivy league university in Ithaca, New York – cleaned businesses – and worked a bunch of other jobs I tried hard to forgot about to maintain any sanity I’ve been able to fake\u00a0for all these years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0And I’ve been a spiritual seeker since the age of twelve when I first cried myself to sleep thinking God just might be dead like somebody told me, or maybe blind drunk in some nasty big city alley – or who knows?<\/span><\/p>\n

—\u00a0A certain percentage of us humans in every generation are really driven to learn everything we can about God\u00a0and not take anyone else’s word for Who or What God might be – and experience as close a relationship as we can with – Whatever or Whoever – He or She of ‘Whatever’ (Force? Energy? Collective Over-Soul?) – might be. So far, I’m convinced that “God” is too big to define in human terms, is a lot of things including the Loving, Merciful, Forgiving, Wise Intelligence that motivates Angels to interfere with worst case scenarios\u00a0here on Earth and Inspires the best of us to try harder than we believed we could to do whatever\u00a0we can to make this life as pleasant and inspirational to everyone and everything we can- And I’ve come to believe that God suffers intensely over the way people treat each other while they claim, and probably even believe, they are committing their (unintentional?) harm in God’s name.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I can probably ‘copy and paste’ a lot of information here – but it might be a lot easier to grab another WordPress blog and pop it in here, turn off comments and use that exclusively for Ancestry \/ Geneology stuff.<\/span><\/p>\n
